    Aliko Dangote is a self made business tycoon with a net worth of $20.1 billion.
      According to Forbes, he is the 43rd wealthest person in the world and the wealthiest person in Africa.
   


















He was born on 10th April 1957 In Kano, Nigeria to be a rich Muslim family.
    Aliko Dangote built a vibrant brand for his business, He corroborated this during an interview by saying '' to succeed in business, you must build a brand and never drstory it. One competitive advantage I had when I ventured into manufacturing was my brand (Dangote), which I diligently built in the course of my trading.
    He once worked forhis uncle Sani Dangote, He served his master diligently. He acted in according to the statement which says If you must lead, you have to serve. It was while working for his uncle that he gathered confidence, experience and skill.
    He sells cheap quality product in his mission to gain the loyality of his costomers, He started selling his competitive products at cheaper rates compared to his competitors rates.
   He graduate from the Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, He sarted the Dangote Group of Company in 1977 and today it has become a multi-million naira business with operation in several countries such as Nigeria, Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic. His business includes cement manufacturing, sugar, flour, food processing and freight.





















   Dangote Group's major investment includes banking, real estates,oil,gas, and textile. With more than 11000 employees it ia one of the biggest conglomerated in West Afica.
He is the owner of the largest industrial business in Nigeria  and West Afica as a whole providing butter and bread for thousands of families with his employment opportunities.
 The Dangote Group of company also control the sugar market in Nigeria; It is the biggest suppiler of sugar to soft drink companies, confectioners and the breweries.
    Currently Dangote is looking into telecommunications, his present work includes building of fourteen thousand(14,000) kilometers of optic cables in Nigeria.
Today Dango Group dominates the sugar market with his sugar refinery being the major supplier to 70% of the market.
   He is the richest Afican in the world and an inspiration for the young minds who want to succeed as enterpreneurs.
   He also Imports fish, rice, pasta, fertilizer and cement on a large scale.
  He export cocoa, cashew nuts, ginger, cotten, and sesame seed to many countries.
 For all his work he was honored in 2009 as the largest provider of employment in the whole of Nigeria construction industry.
Despite all this  wealth and outstanding achievements as a businessman, Dangote remains as simple, hardworking, humble and cool headed as he was in the very beginning.
